Early Life and Education

Friedrich Seiberglich, a prominent Baltic-German civil engineer and architect, was born in Riga in 1850. He pursued his architectural education at the Riga Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 1876.

Professional Experience

From 1877 to 1879, Seiberglich worked at Robert Pflug's architectural firm. Subsequently, he established his own bureau, operating from 1879 to 1883. Notably, he also became a co-owner and the de facto leader of the construction company "R. Geiserman."

Architectural Legacy in Riga

Seiberglich's contributions to the architectural landscape of Riga are evident in numerous buildings constructed during the eclecticism era. His most renowned work is the mansion commissioned by the renowned brewer von Bigner. Today, this edifice houses the Latvian Museum of Culture "Dauderi."
