Kownacka's passion for the performing arts began at a young age. In 1975, she graduated from the State Higher School of Theatre (now the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy) in Warsaw.
Theatre Career
After graduating, Kownacka made her mark in Warsaw theatre. She performed in various theatres, including the "Kwadrat" (1975-1978), the "Współczesny" (1978-1984), the "Studio" (1984-1999), and the National Theatre (from 1999), where she became a permanent fixture.
