Early Life and Career
Born in Gazakh, Azerbaijan, on November 14, 1989,Hasan Aliyev took up Greco-Roman wrestling at the young age of 7 under the tutelage of Tariel Nasibov at the Koseler village wrestling school. In 2001, at the age of 12, he relocated to Baku and enrolled in the Republican Olympic Sports Lyceum.
Training and Development
During his middle school years at the lyceum, Aliyev trained under Idriss Asadov. From 2006 onwards, he came under the guidance of experienced coach Vagif Feyzullaev, with whom he continues to train to this day. In 2006, he earned the title of Master of Sports.
Academic and Athletic Achievements
Aliyev graduated from the lyceum in 2007 and went on to represent Neftchi Sports and Wellness Center of Baku. He achieved outstanding success in international competitions, including:
- European Junior Champion (2008 and 2009)
- World Junior Champion (2009)- European Champion (2010)
- World Champion (2010)
Olympic Participation and Later Honors
Aliyev represented Azerbaijan at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.He went on to win a bronze medal at the inaugural 2015 European Games in Baku. In recognition of his remarkable achievements, he was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports in 2010.
