Jeffrey Arend is an American actor of theater, film, and television. He was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City. Arend is of Pakistani descent.

Early Life and Education
Arend attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and graduated in 1996.
Career
In 2000, Arend began his professional career in voice acting for video games, such as 'Daria's Inferno'. He later started receiving small roles in films. Arend made his debut in 2001 in the movies 'Super Troopers' and 'Bubble Boy'. He played a mentally challenged character in the 2005 film 'The Ringer' and had a supporting role in the romantic comedy '(500) Days of Summer' in 2009. Arend's most recent film work includes the thriller 'Devil' directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
Arend has also worked on television, starting with the series 'Greek' in 2008. Since the fall of 2010, he has been part of the medical drama series 'Body of Proof'.
In addition to his on-screen work, Arend has experience in stage performances. He has appeared in notable productions such as 'The American Pilot' at the Manhattan Theatre Club and 'Mutter Courage und ihre Kinde' at the Public Theater, where he shared the stage with renowned actors such as Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline.

On October 11, 2009, Arend married actress Christina Hendricks, who was voted 'the sexiest woman of 2010' by readers of Esquire magazine. The wedding took place in their hometown of New York City at the trendy restaurant 'Il Buco'. The couple exchanged platinum rings from Tacori, with both rings featuring engraved inscriptions and the bride's ring adorned with two rows of real diamonds.
