Early CareerJames Edward Bonhag, an American athlete, first competed in the 1904 St. Louis Olympics in the 800m race, though his exact placement and time remain unknown. In the unofficial 1906 Intercalated Games in Athens, he triumphed in the 1500m walk but also finished fourth in the 5-mile run and sixth in the 1500m.
