From Geophysics to PhotographyGeorge Steinmetz, an acclaimed American photographer, graduated from Stanford University in 1979 with a degree in geophysics. His journey into photography began after a 28-month hitchhiking adventure through Africa, which instilled in him a fascination for capturing the beauty and mystery of the desert.
