Early Life and Career

Georgia King was born to Isabel Buchanan and actor Jonathan Hyde in Scotland. Her professional acting debut came in the TV series Jane Eyre, but a week before filming, she underwent an emergency appendectomy. Despite her agent's doubts, King recovered in time and received medical clearance to resume shooting.

Breakout Roles

King's breakthrough roles include Harriet in The Young Victoria(2008) and the cunning Sophie in the slasher film Tormented(2009). Her performance as Harriet earned her critical acclaim, establishing her as a rising talent.

Theatre and Television

In 2010, King performed in the stage production One Night In Novemberat the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. She also landed the role of Jules in the romantic comedy How to Marry a Billionaire.
