Georgina Helen "Georgie" Henley, a British actress, is best known for her role as Lucy Pevensie in the "Chronicles of Narnia" trilogy. She was born on July 9, 1995, in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, to parents Helen and Mike. Henley attended Moorfield School for Girls before enrolling in Bradford Grammar School. She has two sisters, Rachael and Laura, with Rachael portraying the adult Lucy Pevensie in the film "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe."

Early Acting Career

Henley's acting career began with her portrayal of Lucy Pevensie in the children's adventure film based on C.S. Lewis' novel "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe." She won the role after a rigorous casting process that included over two thousand other contenders. The film went on to gross over $745 million worldwide and earned Henley the Phoenix Film Critics' Society Award for Best Young Actress Performance. She also received a Young Artist Award.

The Chronicles of Narnia Trilogy
