Biography of Lorenzo Lamas
Lorenzo Lamas is an American film actor and popular television host. He is also a talented artist. He was born on January 20, 1958, in Santa Monica, California. His parents were the famous Argentine actor Fernando Lamas and the Norwegian actress Elin Dale. From a young age, Lorenzo had a deep interest in acting, particularly in the films of Tony Barr.
When Lorenzo turned 13, he headed to New York. In 1975, he graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy in New Jersey and then returned to Southern California.
Early Career
After returning to California, Lorenzo attended seminars for actors and made his first appearance on television screens in 1976. Initially, he mostly played villainous roles, but later on, he portrayed a variety of characters.
In 1979, Lorenzo, a passionate fan of karate and taekwondo, earned black belts in these martial arts and actively applied his skills on the set. In 1980, his career took off as he appeared in numerous television series, including soap operas, for which he received several awards.
Ups and Downs
However, there were also failures. In 1984, Lorenzo was named worst actor for his role in the film Body Rock. Despite this setback, he went on to play many more roles, some successful and some not.

In May 2008, Lorenzo Lamas began actively appearing in advertisements for a famous restaurant chain. In terms of his personal life, Lorenzo has been married multiple times. In 1981, he married Victoria Hilbert, but their marriage lasted only a year.
Next, he entered his second marriage with Michelle Smith. They also stayed together for about a year but had two children, a son and a daughter. In 1989, Lamas married for the third time to Kathleen Kinmont, and they were together for four years.
In 1996, Lorenzo Lamas married his next love, Shauna Sand. They remained married until 2002 when they divorced. They now co-parent their three daughters separately.
Currently, Lorenzo Lamas is a father to five children and is awaiting his next marital happiness.
