Born on November 11, 1981, in Kyiv, Georgy Khostikoev comes from a renowned acting dynasty. His father, Anatoly Khostikoev, is a People's Artist of Ukraine and a veteran of Ukrainian cinema, while his mother, Lyubov Kubyuk, was a member of the Kyiv National Ivan Franko Ukrainian Drama Theater.
Growing up amidst the vibrant theater scene, Georgy Khostikoev was naturally drawn to the craft. Despite his impressive height (188 cm) and striking features, he initially pursued an education in economics and law. However, his passion for acting eventually led him to enroll in the Kyiv State Institute of Theatrical Art.
Theater and Film
In 2001, Georgy Khostikoev graduated from the institute and began his professional acting career. He joined the prestigious Ivan Franko Theater, following in the footsteps of his parents. His talent shone through in various roles, from classical plays to contemporary dramas.
Simultaneously, Khostikoev's film career gained momentum. He made his debut in "Atlantis" (2003), starring alongside Dmitry Kharatyan and Alexander Baluev. His breakout role came in the musical "Sorochinsky Fair" (2004), produced by Konstantin Meladze.
