British Fashion Designer and Accessories Designer Giles Deacon was born in 1970 in Darlington, United Kingdom. He received his professional education at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, which he successfully completed in 1992.

Deacon's career began with his encounter with Katie Grand, who was also studying at the London College and later became an influential stylist. Thanks to her patronage, Deacon started working at the fashion house "Bottega Veneta" in 1998. He then collaborated with brands like "Gucci" and "Louis Vuitton".

Establishing his Brand

In 2003, Deacon founded his own brand "Giles Deacon". Later, the name was shortened to "Giles". The first collection by Deacon was presented in 2004, and from the very beginning, top models such as Linda Evangelista and Stella Tennant participated in his presentations.

Awards and Collaborations

In 2006, Giles Deacon was honored with the "British Fashion Awards" as the British Designer of the Year. The following year, he collaborated with the brand "Daks" and developed two seasonal collections, the last of which was released for the autumn-winter 2008-2009 season. In the spring of 2007, Deacon designed a collection of handbags for "Mulberry".

In his own brand's collection for the autumn-winter 2007-2008 season, the designer presented voluminous chunky wool models, leather dresses, and accessories made of long feathers. In the spring of 2008, the "Gold by Giles for New Look" collection was presented.
