Gina Lynn was born into a family of Italian immigrants in Puerto Rico and moved with her parents to New Jersey during her childhood. She completed her education at a Catholic high school. At the age of 19, during her final year of school, she started working as a stripper in clubs in New Jersey.

After her experience as a stripper, Gina began working as a photo model for the men's magazine "Cheri." In 1999, at the age of 25, she made her debut in the adult film industry with the movie "Eighteen in Las Vegas." She went on to appear in more than 102 films.
