Biography of Glenn Allen Jr.

Glenn Allen Jr. was born on September 24, 1970, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He started his racing career by participating in two Busch Series races from 1992 to 1995. In 1996, Allen became a full-time driver and competed in all 26 races that year, making him the only rookie to achieve this feat. He finished in the top ten twice and secured the 14th position in the championship standings, earning him the title of "Rookie of the Year."

However, Allen's most successful year was 1998 when he finished in the top ten seven times and ended the season in 11th place. Following his impressive performance, he joined Akins Motorsports (now Braun Racing) in 1999. Driving the number 38 Ford Taurus, Allen struggled to achieve consistent results, finishing in the top twenty only five times out of seventeen races. As a result, Hut Stricklin replaced him in the team.

In the 2000 season, Allen competed in six races, with five of them being for Felix Sabates. Unfortunately, he failed to secure a top 25 finish in any of these races and was subsequently released from the team. Allen then returned to the American Speed Association (ASA) and raced for Bud Gebben's team. He participated in ten tournaments, finishing in the top ten in nine of them. Despite his strong performances, Allen did not receive a permanent contract offer and only raced sporadically in 2001.

In the 2002 season, Allen appeared as a team manager for Russ Tuttle's team. However, his passion for racing led him to sign a contract with Ed Hock for participation in the ASA Series the following year. Later on, Allen became the manager of Kris Stump Motorsports.

In 2006, Allen joined forces with Ed Hock, resulting in the formation of the new team, Allen-Hock Motorsports. As a co-owner of the team, Allen continued his involvement in the racing industry. Alongside his business ventures, he remains a respected figure in the American racing community, having carved out a notable career as both a businessman and former professional race car driver.
