Formation of GoLoDoMoR

In 2003, Alexander Kulakov (KuLa) conceived the idea of forming a punk band. After experimenting with numerous names, the group settled on GoLoDoMoR. In September 2004, they began rehearsing with KuLa on guitar and vocals, Dmitry Miskov (Cox) on drums, and Maxim Miskov (Apostol) as director and friend of the band.

The Search for a Bassist

With only a bassist missing, the band planned their debut concert. After an unsuccessful search, they decided to approach their classmate known as Eva. Despite his lack of musical experience, they began teaching him bass guitar, with Apostol providing guidance on how to hold the instrument.

Internal Conflict and Redemption

Unfortunately, Eva's irregular practices created tension within the band. However, after a conflict, he decided to improve and rejoined GoLoDoMoR. Despite their initial concerns, Eva's progress reassured the group.

The Road to Musical Success

From May 2005 to July 2005, the band continued rehearsing to prepare for their concert. They composed 17 songs, selecting 10 for their live performance, including two written by Apostol. The use of chairs, plastic bowls, and saucepan lids as makeshift drums allowed them to establish a rhythm and melody.

The Search for a Demo Recording Venue

With their debut concert approaching and no permanent rehearsal space, the band began a frantic search for a demo recording venue. Time was running out, and the pressure mounted to finish their demo and refine their concert program.

Resolving the Bass Issue

After a period of inactivity, the band decided to give Eva another chance. They accepted his explanations and reinstated him as their bassist, albeit with some remaining doubts. However, the lack of alternatives forced them to embrace the situation and continue their musical journey.

That same evening, GoLoDoMoR commenced working on their demo recording, but technical difficulties prevented them from completing it. The band's subsequent adventures in their musical career are documented in their news and guestbook, where fans are encouraged to engage with the band beyond negative criticism.
