Early Career
Dragic began his professional career in 2003 at the age of seventeen, joining the Slovenian Basketball League 2D club "Ilirija." Professional Career
In 2007, Dragic joined the club "Olimpija," which competed in the Slovenian championship, the Adriatic League, and the EuroLeague. He spent a full season with the team in 2007-08 and won the Slovenian championship.
Dragic was selected in the 2008 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round, 45th overall. However, his rights were later traded to the Phoenix Suns, officially joining the team on September 22, 2008. He was expected to fill the playmaker position after Steve Nash's departure.

He scored 23 points in the fourth quarter, out of his total of 26 points in the game. His exceptional performance helped the Suns overcome an 18-point deficit and win 110-96, securing their third win in the series.
International Career
