Grand Slam Breakthrough

In 2009, Grega Žemlja emerged as the first Slovenian man to reach the main draw of the Australian Open. He repeated this feat in 2010, becoming the first Slovenian to compete in three different Grand Slams. At the 2010 French Open, Žemlja made history as the first Slovenian man to win a Grand Slam match, reaching the second round.
