Childhood and Early Acting Career

As a child, Gresia was so impressionable that her mother even prohibited her from watching television. However, she couldn't resist the allure of forbidden fruit. Gresia fondly remembers the moments of happiness when she managed to secretly watch her favorite TV shows, getting lost in the magical world of series. This fascination with on-screen love and admiration for the main characters often led her to lose touch with reality.

In school, Gresia discovered her talent for reading poetry and telling stories, surpassing her classmates. She quickly became the leading actress in the school theater. At the age of nine, after much persuasion, her mother allowed her to participate in a contest for a role in the series "Anhelika". Gresia won and acted alongside actress Mayra Alejandra ("Forbidden Woman").

Love and Career Challenges

As Gresia grew up and her roles became more mature, she fell in love for the first time with actor Henry Zakka. They got married, but their young age and lack of readiness for married life led to a quick divorce.

Later, while filming the series "Topaz," Gresia crossed paths with Henry again. Despite their previous failed marriage, they had to work together. Gresia hesitated about accepting the role, but ultimately agreed. Her performance in "Topaz" marked the beginning of her international fame. Although they had to work closely, Gresia and Henry maintained a good relationship on set.

Throughout her career, Gresia was rumored to have romantic involvements with Jean-Carlo Simancas, a Venezuelan television actor, which she always denied. However, her relationship with impresario Santiago Pumarola was public knowledge. They eventually got married, but this union also ended quickly, leaving Gresia disillusioned about love.

Finding Love and Happiness

At the age of twenty-three, while working in Argentina, Gresia met Marcelo Pellegrini at a gathering with mutual friends. Marcelo, a young entrepreneur, mistook her for a housemaid due to a joke made by the host. He asked her out on a date, intending to take her to a modest pizzeria to save her from embarrassment. Little did they know that this misunderstanding would lead to a lasting love story.

Six months later, Gresia and Marcelo got married. They settled in Argentina, where Marcelo became involved in producing while managing Gresia's career. Their marriage proved to be a happy one, and they became known as the most harmonious couple in the show business. They have a son named Gianfranco, who recently turned seven.

Continuing Success and Future Plans

Gresia Colmenares has remained one of the most sought-after actresses in the television industry. After achieving success in Venezuela, Argentina, and Italy, where she also learned to speak Italian fluently, she has worked alongside renowned actors such as Jorge Martinez, Osvaldo Lalor, Gabriel Corrado, and Victor Camara.

After taking a break from telenovelas, Gresia devoted her time to theater. Her performance in the children's play "Girls" received great acclaim and filled theaters for two seasons. The play was also adapted for television. However, Gresia recently announced that her last appearance in "Girls" would be her final stage performance, as she has other plans.

In the upcoming year, Gresia and her family plan to spend time in Peru, where she will star in the new series "Mutual Love." Despite her busy career, Gresia always remains close to her loved ones.
