Amelia Walsh is an American professional swimmer. She is the younger sister of Olympic swimmer Alexandra Walsh.
Career
2023 World ChampionshipsAt the 2023 World Championships held in Fukuoka, Japan, Walsh made a splash by securing three medals. She emerged as the World Champion in the 4×100-meter mixed-medley relay, while capturing a silver medal in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay. In the 50-meter butterfly event, she earned a well-deserved bronze medal.
2024 Olympic Games
Walsh's remarkable performance continued at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She added two prestigious silver medals to her collection, one in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay and the other in the 100-meter butterfly event.
