Early Life and CareerThomas Ceccon was born in Thiene, Italy, on January 27, 2001. He began his swimming journey at a young age under the guidance of renowned coach Alberto Burline. Ceccon made an impressive debut at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, where he claimed the gold medal in the 50m freestyle and four other medals.

Ceccon has consistently shattered records throughout his career. On December 17, 2020, he set the Italian record for the 100m backstroke in long-course with a time of 52.84 seconds. He also holds the Italian record in the 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly.
