Biography of Grigory Yarmash
Grigory Yarmash is a Ukrainian football player and defender who has represented the Ukrainian national team. He was born in Poltava in 2005, after spending several years in the Kiev-based club Dynamo. Yarmash played 71 matches for Dynamo's second team, scoring 2 goals. On July 12, 2005, the 24-year-old native of the Ternopil region made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League for Vorskla against Zakarpattia. From the beginning, Yarmash firmly secured his place in the starting lineup. He even managed to score his only goal in the championships against Dynamo Kiev in the 2007/08 season. He was used both as a central midfielder and in his main position as a right defender. It was in this role that he was called up to the national team in 2008. Yarmash played 227 games in the Ukrainian Premier League, scoring 2 goals. He retired from professional football in May 2017.
As a member of the Ukrainian national team, Yarmash played 8 games.
