On July 19, 1990, Mohammad was examined at Lohia Hospital by Dr. Ram Manohar. His height was officially recorded as 57 centimeters (22.4 inches), and his weight was 17 kilograms (37.5 pounds). This made him the shortest living person in the world at the time, and his record was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Personal Life and Career
Unfortunately, little is known about Mohammad's personal life. He reportedly struggled throughout his life due to his small stature, and he was never married, although it is said that he yearned for a family. It is believed that Mohammad smoked heavily, which may have contributed to his respiratory problems.
Death and Legacy
Mohammad died in 1997 at the age of 40 due to respiratory complications. His record was later broken by Chandra Bahadur Dangi of Nepal, who measured 54.6 centimeters (21.5 inches) at the time of his death in 2015.
