Biography of Giuliano Amato

Giuliano Amato was born on May 13, 1938, in Turin, Italy. He grew up in an industrial center and at the age of 20, he joined the Italian Socialist Party (ISP) and held leadership positions within the party. After the dissolution of the party in 1994, Amato became an independent politician. He was elected as a member of parliament multiple times.
