Biography of Hannah Thompson

Hannah Thompson is an American athlete, a fencer, and a participant of the 2008 Olympics. Born on November 1, 1983, in Rochester, New York, she started fencing at a young age and quickly achieved success due to her exceptional abilities. In 2001, Hannah graduated from East High School in Rochester, where she was a popular student and a member of the National Honor Society. She was also one of the top ten educated graduates.

After high school, Hannah attended Ohio State University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in sociology and criminology. During her four years at the university, she actively participated in various competitions and became a four-time NCAA champion. She also earned a spot on the national fencing team that represented the United States at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Additionally, Hannah competed in the Pan American Games held in Brazil in 2007, where she won a silver medal, and she was also the National Champion in 2005.

Currently, Hannah Thompson is involved in the Home Depot Olympic Job Program and spends most of her time in rigorous training. In her rare moments of leisure, she enjoys reading and watching movies, particularly TV shows like Grey's Anatomy. Music, especially The Beatles and Jack Johnson, holds a special place in Hannah's life. She also cherishes spending time with her family whenever possible.

Some time ago, Hannah Thompson served as a volunteer assistant coach for fencing in Ohio. This coaching experience provided her with valuable knowledge, especially in the field of the coach-student relationship psychology.
