Early Life and Childhood

Born on January 17, 2004, in Essex, England, Harry Collett is a young British actor who has already made an impressive mark on the industry. Little is known about his early life, but he grew up with a younger sister named Brooke.

Breakout Role in "Catastrophe"

Collett's screen debut came in 2014 when he played the young Michael Buble in the music video for "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Two years later, he made his television debut in the medical drama "Catastrophe" as Oliver "Olly" Hyde, son of nurse David Hyde. His portrayal of a boy trapped in a burning car left viewers in awe, prompting actor Jason Durr to predict a bright future for Collett.

Voice Acting and Early Film Roles

Alongside his television work, Collett has also been active in voice acting. He voiced Wally Trolliman in the American children's series "Wallykazam!" and appeared in the animated series "The Hive" and "Ethel & Ernest." He also played a young Galavant in the British comedy-adventure series "Galavant."

Breakthrough in "Dunkirk"

Collett's breakout role came in 2017 when he starred as Lee in the short thriller "Honour" and played an unnamed boy in Christopher Nolan's war drama "Dunkirk," which featured a score by Hans Zimmer.

Subsequent Film Work

Collett continued to build his filmography with a role in the 2018 comedy-thriller "You Will Die at 20," where he played the 10-year-old version of Aneurin Barnard's character. He also starred as Adam in the short drama "Angels Of Our Past."

"Dolittle" and "House of the Dragon"

In 2017, Collett joined the cast of the adventure comedy "Dolittle," alongside A-listers like Antonio Banderas and Michael Sheen. The film was released in 2020, with Collett playing Tommy Stubbins, the self-proclaimed apprentice of Dr. Dolittle. In 2022, Collett landed a major role in the "Game of Thrones" prequel series "House of the Dragon," portraying Jacaerys Velaryon, the elder son of Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Recent Projects

2022 marked a productive year for Collett, as he played the lead role in the short film "Why Wouldn't I Be?" and reprised his role as Olly Hyde in the final season of "Catastrophe." His departure from the series paved the way for his involvement in "House of the Dragon."
