Hassan Yazdani was born on December 28, 1994, in Mazandaran, Iran. He began wrestling at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2011, he won a bronze medal at the Asian Cadet Championships and a silver medal at the World Cadet Championships.

Junior and World Success

Yazdani's remarkable talent became apparent in 2014 when he claimed gold medals at both the Asian and World Junior Championships. In 2015, he won a silver medal at the World Championships, losing to Russian wrestler Magomedrasul Gazimagomedov.
