From 1887 to 1892, he meticulously curated and published three volumes of catalogs that showcased the National Library of France's numismatic collection pertaining to the Islamic world.

In 1890, La Voix de Savigny was appointed Chief Curator of the Medal Cabinet at the National Library of France, where he remained until 1892.
