In the 2004-2005 season, Koshkin played for HC MVD of Tver and helped them win the Vysshaya Liga, gaining promotion to the Super League. He later returned to Kyiv Sokol in the Belarusian Extraleague.

In the 2006-2007 season, he joined Dinamo Minsk and won the Belarusian Championship, going 17 games without conceding a goal. From 2007 to 2011, he played again for Kyiv Sokol in the Vysshaya Liga before joining Kyiv Berkut in the Professional Hockey League of Ukraine for the 2011-2012 season.
