Early Life and Boxing Career
Born in Ghana, Inusa moved to Germany with his parents as a teenager. He spent most of his life in Hamburg, where he pursued a career in amateur boxing. In the early 1990s, he became a multiple-time Northern German Heavyweight Boxing Champion.
Musical Beginnings
Despite his athletic success, Inusa's passion for music remained. He played the saxophone as a child and developed a love for various genres. In the mid-1990s, he formed a band that performed popular hits.
A Shift in Direction
After several years of performing covers, Inusa decided to pursue original songwriting. He took vocal lessons and recorded his first single, "Morning Light." The song became a huge hit, featured on the internationally acclaimed compilation album "Café del Mar" and serving as the anthem of the club culture of 2006.
International Success
Between 2006 and 2010, Inusa released his most famous hits: "Rumours (Digi Digi)," "Rub-A-Dub Girl," "Down Down Down," and "We Want More." His music gained global recognition and became popular on dance floors worldwide.
Sporting Connections
Despite his musical success, Inusa maintained his love for sports. His track "We Want More" became the unofficial anthem of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, as well as in Ghana, Eastern Europe, and the Mediterranean region. In 2010, he met Russian Paralympic champion Irek Zaripov and dedicated a performance of "We Want More" to him in celebration of his victory. Inusa also has an interest in motorsports and performed at the opening of the Russian Karting Championship Grand Prix CHINGISKHAN in Tatarstan.
Partnership and Expansion
In 2010, Inusa signed a contract with the Russian production center IKON Russian Fashion Week. This collaboration marked a new chapter in his career, allowing him to expand his reach and explore new creative avenues.
