Biography of Isaac Hanson
Isaac Hanson is an American pop singer, actor, and one of the three members of the popular youth group "Hanson". He was born on November 17, 1980, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Isaac is the eldest child of Clarke Walker Hanson and Diana Frances Hanson. He has six siblings: Jordan Taylor, Zachary Walker, Jessica Grace, Avery Laurel, Joshua Mackenzie, and Zoe Genevieve.
Early Life and Career
Isaac is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the group "Hanson". He formed the band with his brother Taylor in 1992 when they were just 11 and 9 years old, respectively. The band originally called "The Hanson Brothers", later renamed to "Hanson". At the time, their youngest brother, Zachary, was only 6 years old. The trio started performing at local venues and gained popularity.
In May 1992, Isaac and his brothers released their first independent album "Boomerang", which sold out at their live performances. In March 1997, the group released their first studio album "Middle of Nowhere" under the major record label "Mercury Records". The album's first single, "MMMBop", reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. To celebrate the album's release, May 6 was declared "Hanson Day" in their hometown.
Acting Career
In addition to music, Isaac also pursued acting. In 1999, he appeared in the film "Being John Malkovich". In 2001, he played a role in the family comedy "Princess Diaries". In 2002, he starred in the film "Frank McKlusky, C.I." alongside his brothers and the band.
Personal Life
Isaac is married to Nicole Dufresne. They tied the knot on September 30, 2006, in Tulsa, with 300 guests in attendance. Isaac met Nicole at one of his own concerts when he noticed her in the fifth row among the crowd. They have two sons together, Clark Everett Hanson, born on April 3, 2007, and James Monroe Hanson, born on July 1, 2008.
Isaac also has many nieces and nephews from his brothers Taylor and Zachary.
Health Issues
On October 3, 2007, Isaac was hospitalized with severe pain in his shoulder and chest. He was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and underwent emergency surgery. He recovered well but was later diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome. In December 2007, he had surgery to remove a rib that was obstructing blood flow to his arm.
