Early Life and CareerIvan Ivanišević was born in Serbia and began playing chess at an early age. His exceptional talent was evident, leading him to achieve the title of grandmaster, the highest rank in chess.
National Champion and Olympian
In 2008, Ivanišević claimed the title of Serbian Champion, a testament to his dominance within his home country. He also represented his nation in numerous Olympiads, including seven in total. During the years 1998-2002, he competed for Yugoslavia, and from 2008-2014, he played under the Serbian flag.
