Early Life and Career
Ivan Volodymyrovych Marchenko was born on February 27, 1977, in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He graduated from the Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Arts, majoring in acting. Marchenko became an actor at the National Academic Theater of Russian Drama named after Lesia Ukrainka in Kyiv.
Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
In 2017, Marchenko was diagnosed with chronosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. He underwent surgery to remove the tumor, but the disease unfortunately returned. Marchenko shared his cancer journey through social media, updating his Facebook followers on his condition.
