Ivete Sangalo, whose full name is Ivete María Dias de Sangalo Cady, is a popular Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress, television host, and model. Born on May 27, 1972 in Juazeiro, Bahia, Brazil, Sangalo developed a passion for music from a young age. She gained recognition in her middle school years, often performing at school events and gatherings in her hometown.

In 1992, Sangalo had her first major concert in Salvador, Bahia, which brought her fame and a contract with Sony Music. Around the same time, she was offered a position as the lead vocalist and frontwoman of the then-unknown group 'Banda Eva.' Little did anyone know that over the next four years, the group would not only become popular but also revolutionize the Brazilian music scene.

Their first album, 'Banda Eva Ao Vivo,' a live recording of their performance, became a hit in the country and quickly went platinum, selling over 1 million copies. The group continued to work at the same pace, releasing five more studio albums.
