The Birth of Izvne
In the nascent year of 1996, Izvne emerged onto the music scene with an initial lineup of three: Andrey on guitar, Mikhail on drums, and Kostya on bass. Their debut performance left an indelible mark on the angry metal genre.
A Changing Rhythm, a New Voice
Soon, Mikhail parted ways with the group, leaving a vacant drum throne. After an arduous year-long search, Oleg "Head" ascended to the position, bringing his experience from bands like MOR and Demons Guillotine. In 1998, their debut album, "Only for Whites," stormed the shelves under the Hobgoblin Records label.
Nu-metal Revolution
In 1999, Izvne underwent a metamorphosis, embracing the burgeoning nu-metal sound. They embarked on a quest for a vocalist, ultimately finding Ardentis. With his arrival in May, the band tirelessly rehearsed to perfect their new identity.
Farewell and Renewal
Another change came in 2000 when Kostya bid farewell, making way for Dima to join on bass. This lineup has remained steadfast since.
Triumphant Takeover of the Moscow Scene
2002 marked a year of resounding successes for Izvne. They graced the stage of the prestigious "Rubilnik. Phase 2" festival, culminating their concert season with a triumphant solo performance. Their "Protest" program solidified their standing on Moscow's alternative scene, captivating audiences of all ages.
The Nu-metal Hybrid
Izvne's music evolved into a potent amalgam of Soulfly, Biohazard, and Mudvayne. Their live performances became a spectacle, filled with constant energy and innovative collaborations. They showcased their versatility with covers of Soulfly and Sepultura alongside musicians from friendly bands.
