Early Life and Music Career

Jacob Basil Anderson was born on June 18, 1990, in Bristol, England. He developed a passion for music in his early years. In 2006, he collaborated with English DJ and producer Luke Harney, known as Typesun, on the track "The PL." The following year, they released another track together, "Let Me Know."

Anderson's musical journey continued in 2008 when he joined forces with rapper Plan B (Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew) to create the song "I Need Love." The track became part of the soundtrack to the film "Adulthood." Anderson and Drew also starred in the movie.
