Biography of Jacob Basmaji

Jacob Basmaji, the founder of the brands "Jacob," "Jacob Connexion," and "Jacob Jr.," was a Canadian entrepreneur who established a chain of stores in Montreal, Quebec in 1977. These stores offered affordable clothing for women and girls. The very first store was opened in Sorel-Tracy, where the flagship store of the 'Jacob Connexion' brand is currently located.

Jacob Connexion

'Jacob Connexion' is a subsidiary of the main 'Jacob' brand. The 'Jacob Connexion' fashion line includes casual clothing and weekend outfits. The distinguishing feature of this subsidiary brand is its emphasis on quality and comfort. The 'Jacob Connexion' range includes fashionable and classic jeans, polo shirts, capri pants, and sweatshirts. European design serves as the main inspiration for 'Jacob Connexion'.

The first 'Jacob Connexion' store opened in 1998 under the name 'Jacob Annexe.' In 2003, a decision was made to change the name to its current variant. In search of better locations, the decision was made to establish 'Jacob Connexion' stores in so-called power centers, where a wide range of products in a specific category is offered.

The main customers of 'Jacob Connexion' clothing are women aged 25-35 years old.
