Biography of Jacqueline Sadler
Guinness World Record HolderJacqueline Sadler, the musical director of a British church, is a Guinness World Record holder for playing the organ for over 40 hours. She set the record for the Longest Organ Playing Session, which lasted for 40 hours, 36 minutes, and 8 seconds.

Early Life and Career
Jacqueline Sadler, also known as Jackie, was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She developed a passion for music at a young age and pursued her musical education. She eventually became the music director of Eastminster United Church in Toronto, where she dedicated herself to enhancing the music program of the church.

Setting a World Record
In 2011, in an effort to raise funds for her church, Jacqueline came up with the idea of attempting a lengthy organ playing session. She decided to sit at the organ for 40 hours without taking a break. The rules for setting this musical record were strict: she was allowed only one 5-minute break after every hour of playing, each musical piece had to last at least 2 minutes, and each composition could be repeated no more than once every four hours.

The Organ Marathon
Equipped with coffee, tea, water, nuts, dried fruits, and vitamins, Jacqueline embarked on her organ marathon. She managed to endure 40 hours, 36 minutes, and 8 seconds, during which she estimated to have played at least a thousand different compositions. She meticulously planned and selected her music repertoire for the marathon.
Achievements and Impact
Jacqueline's incredible feat resulted in not only a new world record but also $9,000 raised for charity. Her achievement was officially recognized by representatives from the Guinness World Records. The Guinness World Record book already acknowledges various musical records, such as a 100-hour continuous guitar playing or a 24-hour street concert. However, Jacqueline's record surpassed the previous record held by Michael Servant, who played the organ continuously for 40 hours and 3 minutes.
Future Plans
Jacqueline Sadler is content and fulfilled by her accomplishment. While she had initially contemplated organizing a similar musical marathon with a church choir, the logistics and costs involved were prohibitive. Instead, she decided to invest her own talent and hard work into setting a personal record. Jacqueline's passion for music and dedication to her church continue to inspire others around her.
