Biography of Jae-sik Lee
Jae-sik Lee is a South Korean opera singer (tenor) and a participant of the Domingo's Operalia competition for young opera singers, currently taking place in Moscow.

Early Life and Education
Lee was born in Jinju, South Korea, and began studying vocal arts in 1997 under the guidance of Sungil Ha at Jinju Mechanical Technology High School. From 2000 to 2005, he continued his education at the Korean National University of Arts, studying under Gwang-sung Song. In 2003, he also took lessons from baritone Stoyan Popov from Sofia, Bulgaria.
Performances and Achievements
Jae-sik Lee has performed various roles and participated in numerous concerts both in Korea and abroad. He portrayed the role of Alfred in Johann Strauss II's operetta 'Die Fledermaus' at the Seoul Arts Center and appeared in a gala concert at the Burgas Opera House in Bulgaria. He also performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in a concert as part of the Musical Olympus Festival, as well as in a concert dedicated to the memory of Maria Callas.
In addition to his performances in Korea, Lee has successfully performed internationally, including a gala concert at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Recognition and Awards
In 2011, Lee participated in the gala presentation of the Musical Olympus Festival at the Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore. In 2008, he competed in three vocal competitions in South Korea, receiving awards such as the 2nd prize at the 'Um Junghaeng', the Grand Prix at the Music Competition in Sejong, and the 1st prize at the 'Vision Voice' competition. Building on his success, he continued to ascend the musical Olympus and in 2009, won the Grand Prix at the Maria Callas Grand Prix International Competition in Athens, as well as the 2nd place at the Marseille International Opera Competition.
In the summer of 2010, Jae-sik Lee won the first prize at the Wilhelm Stenhammar International Singing Competition in Sweden and later that same year, he achieved first prize at the Giovanni Batista Viotti International Competition in Parma.
