Biography of Jahred Shane

Jahred Shane is the founder of the band (hed) P.E. and the most well-known member of the group. He brought the world-renowned rapcore project to life by combining his own project, Live Urban Sex Tribe, with Wesstyle's Liquid Tree. Taking on the nickname M.C.U.D., Jahred soon became known as the best rap master in the world of rock music.

From the very beginning, Jahred was the author of all the group's lyrics. The lyrics of their early songs were dedicated to various social problems and, of course, women. This continued until 2002. In the period between the albums "Broke" and "Blackout," Jahred found himself in a difficult psychological situation and was on the brink of suicide. This had a profound impact on his lyrics, which became darker and more depressive.

On the album "Blackout," rap recitations are almost absent as Jahred preferred to showcase his vocal mastery, which is undeniable. According to many critics, Jahred surpasses vocalists similar to him, such as Fred Durst, in his vocal skills.

Before the release of the album "Blackout," guitarist Chizad left the band, but this did not change the author's perspective on his lyrics. After the tour in support of "Blackout," Jahred lost two more members of his band and began to consider the possibility of disbanding. Additionally, he had material for a solo project called Hectic ("Fenix Jones") in the works. However, in the middle of 2004, Jahred abruptly changed his plans and invited a new guitarist and drummer to join the band. In this renewed lineup, the group released the album "Only In Amerika."

On this album, Jahred clearly went overboard with explicit lyrics. Some songs were almost entirely composed of profanity and obscenities. Therefore, as an experiment, Jahred decided to make the lyrics of the next album, "Back 2 Base X," different from "Only In Amerika."

With the transition to Suburban Noize Records and the release of the album "Back 2 Base X," Jahred found, in his words, his new home. His favorite bands include System of a Down, Slipknot, Korn, Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Led Zeppelin, and Rage Against the Machine.

Lynn Strait, the vocalist of the band Snot, was a close friend of Jahred's. So, when Lynn Strait was killed in a car accident, Jahred couldn't help but participate in the tribute dedicated to his friend.
