Jake Abraham was born in Liverpool, England, in 1967. His childhood years were spent in Toxteth and Kensington, before he pursued his acting dreams at Liverpool's Everyman Theatre. This launched his professional career, and he went on to work extensively with renowned stage companies, including the Royal National Theatre. Abraham's film debut came in 1986, and he appeared in a range of projects, including "Red Dwarf" and the "Sharpe" TV series.

Abraham's breakthrough role came in Guy Ritchie's 1998 crime comedy "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." As a thief attempting to steal antique rifles, he shared the screen with a cast including Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham. The film garnered widespread acclaim and launched Abraham's career to new heights.
Later Career
Despite the success of "Lock, Stock," Abraham's subsequent roles were largely supporting ones. He appeared in "Formula 51" with Samuel L. Jackson, "Mean Machine" with his "Lock, Stock" co-stars, and TV series such as "Midsomer Murders" and "Prisoners' Wives." His final on-screen appearance was in the crime drama "The Responder" alongside Martin Freeman.
Personal Life
Abraham kept his personal life private, but it is known that he was married and had two children. His son, Conn Isak, became a musician and performed with the Liverpool band The Stamp. Abraham also had four grandchildren.
Death
In July 2023, Abraham revealed that he had been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. The illness had spread throughout his body, and after compiling a bucket list that included a trip to Italy, he continued working in the theater despite his deteriorating health. Jake Abraham passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 56.
