Jacob Dil, a German actor and composer, was born on September 25, 1978, in Paris, France. Growing up in a family immersed in the arts, Jacob's father, Hans, was an actor while his mother worked as a costume designer in the theater. The family's frequent relocations due to Hans' tours exposed Jacob and his younger brother August to the world of acting from a tender age.

Education and Early Career

Jacob received classical music education in Berlin. Post-graduation, he found success as a composer. In 2004, he composed the music for the film "Auftrag," followed by the soundtrack for Tom Zenker's drama "Blind Flek." In the latter, he made his acting debut as Max Schreiber and was nominated for the First Steps Awards as Best Newcomer.
