Early Life and Musical Education

Jalal Abbasov's musical journey began at a young age, where he received piano lessons and developed a passion for music. His formal musical education culminated in his entry into the Uzeyir Hajibeyov Baku Music Academy in 2008, where he studied under the renowned pedagogue, People's Artist of the USSR, Fidankasim Kasimova.

Professional Beginnings

Abbasov's professional career commenced in 1997. In 1999, he made his radio debut, followed by his first television appearance in 2000. From 2001 to 2005, he resided and performed in Moscow, gracing various concert venues. Upon his return to Azerbaijan, Abbasov collaborated with acclaimed composers such as Imruza Huseynova, Natig Gazanfar ogly, Faiq Sujaddinov, Eldar Mansurov, Vagif Gerayzade, and author Parviz Nasirov.

Musical Repertoire and Performances

With a repertoire spanning over 3000 songs in various languages, including Azerbaijani, Russian, English, and Italian, Abbasov's diverse musicality shines through. His performances have captivated audiences across Azerbaijan and beyond.

In 2009, he presented a unique concert program titled "Baku Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" at the Heydar Aliyev Palace, accompanied by the "Baku Nights" Estrada-Symphony Ensemble. He also performed the role of Phoebus in the premiere of the musical "Notre Dame de Paris" at the UNS Theatre.

Collaborations with orchestras include performances with the Chamber Orchestra led by Teymur Gökçayev and the National Orchestra under the direction of Agaverdi Pashayev. In 2012, Abbasov gave a concert with a live orchestra at the Philharmonic Garden during the Eurovision Song Contest.
