Founding the Palestinian Arab Party

Jamal al-Husayni was the founder and chairman of the Palestinian Arab Party. His brother, Amin al-Husayni, led the Supreme Arab Committee, and Jamal became a member.

Arab Delegation at the London Conference

In 1939, Jamal al-Husayni led the Arab delegation to the London Conference. He played a pivotal role in representing the interests of the Palestinian Arab community.

Arrest and Exile

In 1941, Jamal al-Husayni was arrested by British authorities and exiled to Southern Rhodesia (present-day Zimbabwe). He spent several years in detention during World War II.

Return to Palestine and Diplomatic Role

After the war, Jamal al-Husayni was released and returned to Palestine. In the autumn of 1948, he served as Foreign Minister of the All-Palestine Government, which was formed to represent the Palestinian Arab population.
