Biography of Jamie Greubel

Jamie Greubel is an American bobsledder who has been competing for the United States national team since 2007. She was born on November 9, 1983, in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Education and Early Career

Greubel attended the Hun School of Princeton in Princeton, New Jersey, and graduated in 2002. She then went on to study at Cornell University, where she graduated in 2006. During her high school years, Greubel competed in field hockey and was a heptathlete in college. She even set a record for the heptathlon during her time at the university. Greubel earned a master's degree in education.

Transition to Bobsledding

After finishing college, Greubel chose to pursue bobsledding after receiving an offer from one of her teammates. She joined the US bobsled team for the 2007-2008 season. Initially, Greubel started as a brakeman in the sport but transitioned to being a pilot in 2010.
