Early Life and the Mandalorian Wars
Born on the planet Concord Dawn, Dango Fett was orphaned at a young age when his family was killed by Death Watch rebels led by Tor Vizsla. After witnessing the murder of his parents, Dango escaped and sought refuge with the True Mandalorians, a faction led by Jaster Mereel.
Rise to Leadership
Dango proved himself a skilled warrior and rose through the ranks of the True Mandalorians, eventually becoming their leader after Mereel's death. Under his command, the True Mandalorians fought against the Death Watch, but suffered a devastating defeat at the Battle of Galidraan.
Capture and Enslavement
Dango was captured and sold into slavery following the battle. He spent several years as a captive until he managed to escape and retrieve his armor.
Return to Galidraan and Revenge
Dango returned to Galidraan to confront Tor Vizsla, who had betrayed him. Despite being injured by Vizsla's poisoned blade, Dango's superior skills allowed him to defeat his former nemesis.
Involvement in the Clone Wars
Dango Fett was hired by the Separatists as a bounty hunter and served as the genetic template for the Clone Army. He first appeared in "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones" when he was targeted by the Jedi for his role in an assassination attempt on Padmé Amidala.
Creation of Boba Fett
As part of his payment for assisting the Kaminoans in creating the Clone Army, Dango requested a clone of himself. This clone, named Boba Fett, was raised as his son and went on to become a renowned bounty hunter in his own right.
Death on Geonosis
Dango Fett met his end on the planet Geonosis during the Battle of Geonosis. He was defeated by Jedi Master Mace Windu after his jetpack malfunctioned. His death left behind a legacy as a formidable bounty hunter and warrior, as well as the genetic lineage that would become the Clone Army.
