Charlie Harper is the main character of the hit TV show "Two and a Half Men." He loves his mother Evelyn, although he doesn't miss the chance to remind her that she wasn't the best mother in his childhood, causing him and his brother a lot of problems. Charlie, for example, had three different stepfathers, all of whom were more important to his mother than her two young sons.
An Unwanted Guest
Alan Harper, Charlie's younger brother, lives in the same large house in Malibu, overlooking the ocean, and Charlie's constant problem is how to get rid of Alan. He took him in a few years ago when Alan was going through a difficult emotional divorce, and at that time, it seemed like Alan would only be staying temporarily. However, as the saying goes, nothing is more permanent than the temporary, and Alan ended up staying, with a serious concern that he would never leave. As time went on, Alan even outlived Charlie, remaining in the house even after his brother's death.

One of Charlie's women, his neighbor named Rose, whom he once spent a night with, stalks him throughout his life. She always seems to be nearby, and sometimes, when Charlie is feeling lonely, he enjoys spending time with her.
An Unconventional Career
Charlie doesn't go to work; his broker handles his finances, and Charlie himself composes jingles for commercials while sitting at home by the piano. He is remarkably successful in this endeavor, with his songs selling well, and he has even gained a certain level of fame. Unfortunately, Charlie's excessive drinking is a significant flaw, and as the show progresses, he drinks more and begins to deteriorate physically. Many attributed this to Charlie Sheen's real-life struggles, as the actor left the show due to his personal issues.
A Shocking Exit
In an unexpected turn of events, Charlie Harper dies in the show. Many viewers believed it was a prank and expected Charlie Harper to walk into his own funeral and whimsically declare that it was all a joke. However, there was no miracle - Charlie Harper indeed died in the storyline, tragically killed by a train in Paris.
