Early Career and Move to Fulham
Jaroslav Drobny, a Czech goalkeeper, played for several clubs throughout his career. In 2005, he joined the English team Fulham after a preliminary agreement. Upon the sale of Fulham's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to Manchester United, Drobny was officially introduced as a player. He signed a three-year contract with the "Cottagers."
Loan to Den Haag
In January 2006, Drobny was loaned to ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands. He made his debut in the Dutch league in February, but his team suffered a 0-3 defeat. Drobny played in 12 matches and conceded 17 goals during his loan spell.
Transfer to Hamburg
In 2010, Drobny became a free agent and signed with Hamburger SV. His time in Hamburg was successful, and he established himself as a reliable goalkeeper.
Move to Werder Bremen
In 2016, Drobny joined Werder Bremen on a free transfer. He signed a one-year contract with the German club. His performance impressed the team, and his contract was extended for an additional season in 2017. Drobny continued to be a valuable asset to Werder Bremen until the end of his contract.
