Canadian-American actor and film director Jason Bradford Priestley was born on August 28, 1969, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He is well-known for his role as virtuous Brandon Walsh in the television series "Beverly Hills, 90210," which brought him recognition and fame in the early 1990s.

Early Life and Career

Jason made his first on-screen appearance in Canadian television commercials at the age of four. He started his acting career in 1977, playing Todd in the comedy television series "Sister Kate." After graduating from high school in North Vancouver, Jason enrolled in a drama studio and moved to Los Angeles, the capital of the film industry, in 1987.

Success with "Beverly Hills, 90210"

In 1990, Jason was cast as Brandon Walsh in the series "Beverly Hills, 90210," for which he won two Golden Globe Awards. He even tried to get his real-life twin sister, Justine, to audition for the role of Brenda Walsh, although she did not get the part. Justine did make several guest appearances on the show. Jason left "Beverly Hills, 90210" as an actor in 1998 but continued to be involved as an executive director and producer until the series ended in 2000.

He finally found happiness when he married Naomi Lowde in 2005, and they have two children together.
