Jeff Trachta, an American actor, comedian, and singer, was born on October 6, 1960, in Staten Island, New York.

Rise to Fame

Trachta made his television debut in 1986 with a minor role in the series "Loving". However, his breakthrough in Hollywood came in 1989 when he landed the role of Thorne Forrester in the soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" on CBS. He portrayed Forrester for nearly eight years until 1996, after which the role was taken over by actor Winsor Harmon.

Musical Success

Trachta's debut album, "Bold and Beautiful Duets," which he recorded with actress Bobbie Eakes, soared to the top of European charts within a month of its release. This album was followed by two more successful albums that achieved platinum status multiple times worldwide. Trachta embarked on concert tours, performing to thousands of fans in countries such as Holland, Switzerland, Italy, India, Finland, Germany, Belgium, and South Africa.

Stage Career

Trachta made his Broadway debut at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, playing the role of Danny Zuko in the revival of "Grease". He also received critical acclaim for his performance in the one-man show "Agency," which ran for a year in Los Angeles and earned him the "Robby Award" and "Los Angeles Critic Choice Award". Trachta even co-wrote the play, which was produced by Castle Rock Entertainment.

In addition to his acting and singing career, Trachta appeared in various stage productions, including "Phantom of the Opera," "Bye Bye Birdie," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Love Letters," and "Cinderella." He also participated in national touring productions and worked with renowned comedians such as Bob Hope, Phyllis Diller, Carol Channing, and Robert Klein. Trachta produced and starred in the thriller "Interlocked" in 1999 and made appearances in TV shows like "V.I.P." and "Strip Mall".

Las Vegas Residency

For nearly two years, Trachta performed his unique variety show, "Jeff Trachta Live!", at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, showcasing his comedic talent, vocal skills, and choreography. In 2008, he became the first permanent headliner in Palm Springs, California, at the Spa Resort Casino. His show ran until September 26, 2008.

Recent Years

Trachta continued to make guest appearances on talk shows like "Good Morning America" and "Entertainment Tonight". He also served as the host of the Miss World competition. In October 2011, he was a special guest of Liza Minnelli at the Las Vegas Hilton. In May 2012, Trachta performed at the Palms Casino Resort in the concert theater "The Pearl".
