Jeremy's music is heavily influenced by folk and blues, and he typically performs his songs accompanied by an acoustic guitar, harmonica, or slide guitar. He is actively recording and touring across Canada and the United States, both as a solo artist and with other groups.

Jeremy Fisher began his musical journey as Jeremy Binns, and he gained recognition performing with the band "The Obvious." Several of his early works are still associated with this band, even though he has re-recorded them in later albums. In 1999, The Obvious released a self-titled album while Jeremy was gathering material for his own debut independent album. To support his album, which was released in 2001, Jeremy embarked on a six-month tour across Canada, traveling from Seattle to Halifax on his bicycle. During this incredible journey, he covered approximately 7,500 kilometers and performed 30 concerts. Jeremy also fulfilled a commission from the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, promoting and popularizing safe cycling and raising awareness about education for African girls.

Jeremy Fisher released his first major label album, "Let It Shine," on October 12, 2004, under Sony BMG Music Canada. The second single from this album, "High School," gained significant popularity and received extensive airplay on radio and television in early 2005. In February and March 2005, Jeremy toured Canada with Sarah Slean, and in April, he represented his country at Expo 2005 in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

In 2006, Jeremy Fisher embarked on another tour, this time with Xavier Rudd. He also joined the popular Canadian music collective, Jakalope, and contributed to one of their album's tracks. On March 27, 2007, Jeremy released his third album, "Goodbye Blue Monday," under Aquarius Records with assistance from Canadian singer Hawksley Workman. The single "Cigarette" from this album received significant radio play and garnered positive responses on YouTube, where a homemade video for the song was shared. On August 20, 2007, Jeremy made his American television debut on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."

Jeremy Fisher's most recent album, "Flood," was released on October 26, 2010. He is currently participating in a concert tour supporting LIGHTS and recently appeared on CBC in the program "The Homestretch," performing the song "Naked Girl."
