Biography of Jessica Clark
Jessica Clark, a young Australian who has lost half her weight, has overcome bullying to shed 40 kg and gain the confidence to compete in bikini bodybuilding contests. Now 20 years old, Jessica Clark weighed around 95 kg just three years ago. She was constantly teased in school, but preferred to keep all the hurt inside. Hailing from Gold Coast, Australia, Jessica was an athlete during her school years, but struggled with appetite issues due to her emotions. "In reality, I never let myself talk about it with others," says Clark about her weight struggles and the bullying she faced. "Only a few close friends knew, while my family had no idea." Unlike many people fighting with excess weight, Jessica's main issue was not a sedentary lifestyle. She needed to learn portion control. When Clark stepped on the scale at 17 years old and saw the massive 95 kg, she finally decided to take control and take immediate action. "I represented our state in triathlon, track and field, and soccer," said Jessica. "I was a stocky girl, and that was something that could be used against me." In her senior years, Clark underwent knee surgery and began her own body transformation program after finishing high school.
She joined a gym and, along with regular exercises, performed a series of high-intensity workouts. The results were quick to show, and soon Clark set another goal for herself. She wanted to achieve a level of physical fitness suitable for bodybuilding competitions.
Preparing for such events required a special diet, rich in protein and good fats and carbohydrates. The Australian athlete added avocado, nuts, sweet potatoes, and more to her diet.
Jessica stated, "In reality, I just followed a 12-week workout plan and a good diet."
"I trained five to six days a week, worked with weights, and did cardio exercises for two to three hours."
"Stepping on stage is definitely nerve-wracking, but it's just an amazing feeling."
Currently, Clark's weight has stabilized at 55 kg.
Jessica has opened her own business as a personal trainer and hopes to inspire other young girls to transform their lives for the better.
"Don't be afraid to seek help or make changes," said Clark.
Continuing her rigorous training, Jessica follows a diet consisting of six meals high in protein and healthy fats before performances. Her menu looks as follows:
1. Two whole eggs, four egg whites with avocado, spinach, and bell pepper.
2. 100 g lean meat, 100-150 g green vegetables, and 100 g sweet potato or rice.
3. Salad, 100 g lean meat, and half an avocado.
4. Same as item two or a carbohydrate shake.
5. Same as item three.
6. Choice of either 1 scoop of whey protein and 15 g of nuts or egg whites mixed with vegetables.
